The Hitsujiyama Flower Park is especially spectacular in April and early May when it is covered by pink carpets of flowers called Shibazakura, meaning “a lawn of cherry blossoms.” It really looks like that in person! I was charmed by the photos I saw through the internet and decided I must plan a trip to visit!
