Saitama's Ranzan Valley

A colorful spectacle awaits you!

A little over an hour from Tokyo’s Ikebukuro Station on the Tobu Tojo Line lies Musashi-Ranzan, a typical non-distinct town in rural Saitama that wouldn’t be high on anyone’s itinerary if not for one fact; Ranzan Valley.

Situated within a pristine nature reserve, this scenic area is a 30 minute walk from Musashi-Ranzan Station or a more leisurely 10 minute bus ride away. During the autumn season this park boasts a spectacular array of colors ranging from bright yellow to deep red, easily making it one of the top places in and around Tokyo to come and see the autumn foliage.
