The EJ Anime Museum will open on the third floor of the Kadokawa Culture Museum on November 6th, and for its opening exhibition it will host a Newtype Anime Chronicle exhibition. Newtype is a monthly publication from Kadokawa Corporation. It features the latest and popular news from anime, manga, tokusatsu, scifi, seiyu (voice acting), and video games. Newtype is released monthly on the 10th of every month, and this year is the 35th anniversary of the magazine.

The Newtype Anime Chronicle exhibition showcases numerous works of past and present issues. There are five different sections and a shop. Works by Mamoru Hosoda, Makoto Shinkai, and Mamoru Nagano are featured in the exhibition. There's also a section titled "Newtype Express", with exclusive information on upcoming works and the latest anime news for this winter.

The Newtype Anime Chronicle is one of several exhibitions and events starting on November 6th in Tokorozawa Sakura Town. For example, the Yokai Pandemonium exhibition also starts on November 6th in the grand gallery on the first floor of the museum.
