The upcoming area, named Donkey Kong Country, is set to open in the spring of 2024 and will offer a fully immersive experience for fans of the iconic video game franchise.
The announcement, made by USJ on December 5, 2023, confirms the addition of Donkey Kong Country to the park's existing Super Nintendo World, which is currently undergoing expansion. This expansion will notably increase the size of Super Nintendo World by a substantial 1.7 times.
At the center of the Donkey Kong Country area will be the exciting Mine Cart Madness ride, allowing visitors to experience thrilling mine cart action reminiscent of the gameplay found in the Donkey Kong series.
