Travelers seeking a blend of luxury, culture, and modern design have a new destination to explore with the recent opening of Patina Osaka at the beginning of May. Located in Osaka’s Chuo Ward in close proximity to Osaka Castle Park and Naniwa Palace Park, the hotel offers panoramic views of the historic cityscape. This is the first Japanese location for the Singapore-based Capella Hotel Group’s Patina brand, which was named the world’s best hotel brand in both 2023 and 2024.

Patina Osaka features 221 spacious rooms starting at 50 square meters, with many offering balconies that overlook Osaka Castle. The reception area on the 20th floor offers a dramatic city view and includes cultural touches like a DJ booth, a vintage record collection, and an art wall made from speakers, reflecting the brand’s appreciation for music and design.
The hotel also offers a full suite of wellness amenities. Guests can enjoy Japan’s first in-hotel hydrogen oxygen therapy capsules, aerial yoga, mindfulness sessions, and a 20-meter indoor pool flooded with natural light. The fitness center is also equipped with the latest Technogym personal training and body scan systems.

Dining options range from fresh herb-infused cuisine at P72 on the ground floor to Basque dishes at IÑAKI on the 19th floor. The hotel also includes a teppanyaki restaurant with private dining rooms, a tea lounge, and rooftop bars with sweeping views of the city.

For events, the 386-square-meter ballroom and its adjacent garden terrace provide a dynamic setting for international conferences or celebrations. Additionally, the on-site wedding chapel features full glass walls and a direct view of Osaka Castle, making it a unique venue for ceremonies.
