Venue : Abeno Harukas When : Apr 17th - Jun 27th 2021, 10:00am - 8:00pm

A special exhibition taking place at Osaka's Abeno Harukas Museum looks at the works of Grandma Moses, also known as Anna Mary Robertson Moses (1860 - 1961). Grandma Moses began her painting career in her late 70's, and she is often cited as someone who successfully started a different career path in her senior years.

Approximately 130 works will be displayed at the exhibition, which span the course of her career. Along with the art on display to appreciate, the event is also a celebration of 160 years since Grandma Moses' birth.

Adult admission to the exhibition is priced at 1500 yen.

Getting there

The Abeno Harukas Art Museum is located just a minute on foot from the Osaka Abenobashi Station, served by the Minami Osaka Line of the Kintetsu Railway, or two minutes on foot from Tennoji Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line.

As there is no on-site parking available, visitors to the museum are advised to use public transport wherever possible.
