Held annually on the weekend after obon festivities since 1956, the Okinawa Zento Eisa Festival is a large-scale celebration of dance and traditional music. The multi-day affair is held at the Goya Crossroads and Koza Athletics Park, and typically draws in spectator crowds in the several hundreds of thousands.

- September 8th: 18:30 - 21:00 at the Goya Crossroads area
- September 9th and 10th: 15:00 - 21:00 at the Koza Athletics Park
Admission to the festival is free of charge.
Getting there
The event takes place at the Goya Crossroads (day 1) and Koza Athletics Park areas (day 2 and 3). The park is located just a couple of minutes driving time from the Okinawa Minami IC on the Okinawa Expressway, and the travel time from the Naha area is approximately 30 minutes without traffic.
Paid parking is available at a number of lots in the surrounding area.
