Music and mountains will come together this September as Hakuba hosts the first-ever Hakuba Mountain Festival. The two-day event will take place in late September across multiple venues in Hakuba Village, including the historic Hakuba Ski Jump Stadium, which was used during the 1998 Winter Olympics.
Shonan no Kaze has just been announced as one of the headliners, joining artists such as Dai Hirai, Phony Ppl from the US, and UK musician Alfie Templeman. In total, more than 20 acts are scheduled to perform, offering a wide mix of both Japanese and international talent. With Shonan no Kaze's energetic live performances set against the backdrop of the Northern Alps, festivalgoers can look forward to an unforgettable atmosphere.
Beyond music, the festival highlights the natural beauty of Hakuba. Attendees can enjoy unlimited gondola rides with their tickets, making it easy to move between stages while soaking in mountain views. Adventure activities like tandem paragliding, hot air balloon rides, and e-bike rentals will also be available, creating a unique blend of live entertainment and outdoor experiences.
The Hakuba Mountain Festival is not only a celebration of music but also of the community. Special discounts for local residents and partnerships with nearby businesses aim to bring people together while showcasing Hakuba as a world-class mountain destination.
