The RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto completed a full-scale renovation in September 2016, which included two newly created facilities: the Premium Floor “Chikurin-no Kazaoto” and “All Day Dining KAZA.”

Reborn on September 8th, the renovated design draws on Kyoto's historical traditions and alongside contemporary influences.

The hotel’s exterior features a traditional lattice design which welcomes guests with a beautiful impression of Japan. Artistic lighting leads guests from the entrance to the lobby where they are greeted with the full aesthetic beauty of Kyoto evident in the stone-paved style floor and bamboo art objects.

An additional new seven guest rooms bring the total number to 489, most of which are equipped with originally designed beds developed in collaboration with the Simmons Bedding Company.

The 9th floor hosts the new Premium Floor “Chikurin-no Kazaoto”. Rooms from the 8th floor to the 10th floor, including the Premium Floor, are equipped with special amenities and facilities.

A brand-new restaurant, “All Day Dining KAZA” has also opened on the 1st floor which can accommodate 210 guests in total, including box seats and three private rooms.
