The northwest corner of Kyoto Gyoen Garden is called the Garden of the Former Konoe-tei Residence. Here, there are a lot of huge cherry trees and wide spread lawns. A very high-ranking noble, Konoe, once had a residence here, and now only the garden is preserved. It is a 5-minute-walk from Imadegawa subway station.
