Cantonese restaurant Taoli is located on the second floor of Hotel Nikko Kumamoto. It offers a great deal with its lunch set for ¥1,700, which is only available on weekdays. It consists of a soup, one main dish from a selection of sweet & sour pork, prawns with spicy chill sauce, beef stir fry with XO sauce, for example, as well as rice, zasai (Chinese pickles) and a tasty dessert. Additionally you can add three kinds of Yum Cha for ¥500.
Taoli delights in bringing out the flavor of local and seasonal ingredients, with a focus on food for health as well as taste, by utilizing the Goji philosophy of sweet, hot, sour, bitter and salty. It is said that the Chinese food in Japan cooked in a more delicate way, with each dish being beautifully presented. You can enjoy them with your eyes as well as your taste buds .
The restaurant also has five private rooms, which are suitable for banquets and parties.
