Throughout the summer, the Sogo Yokohama Beer Garden will open its doors to the public. Located on the rooftop of the Sogo Yokohama Department store, the beer garden is held in collaboration with the Kamakura Brewing Company who were founded in 1997 and have a long history in the craft beer industry.
The beer garden has various meal and drink plans available to choose from, including options for all-you-can-drink Kamakura beer, and reservations can be made in advance.
Do note that the hours differ from weekdays to weekend:
- Weekdays: 5pm—10pm (LO 9pm)
- Weekends/holidays: 12pm—4pm (LO 3pm), 5pm–10pm (LO 9pm).
Getting there
The Sogo Yokohama Beer Garden can be accessed in just three minutes on foot from Yokohama Station, which is served by a variety of lines including the Tokaido Main Line, the Yokohama Line, and the Yokosuka Line.
For those who plan to drive to the venue, there is paid parking available at the Sogo Parking Building. The building can accommodate up to 2500 vehicles, and parking is charged at 340 yen for every 30 minute increment.
