What was the mystery subject at Enoden Railway?

In late February this year, I was taking photos of Gokurakuji Temple, which is located just in front of Enoden Gokurakuji Station. I heard voices, and the sound of camera shutters behind me. Looking around, I found many photographers had suddenly materialized from nowhere. They were virtually 'attached' to the iron fence of Enoden railway. At the time I was trying to decide whether to go inside Gokurakuji Temple or not, but decided to wait. These photographers seemed more interesting than looking inside the temple! They seemed to be waiting for a train to come out of a tunnel. Some were crouching down while others were negotiating something with a station staff. I still don't know what they were trying to do, but I can tell they were a bunch of dedicated photographers!
