Embark on a brand new adventure at Hello, One Piece! The Straw Hat Pirates are coming to Yokohama Hammerhead for a limited time. Relive your favorite moments of One Piece at this colorful art show and experience a zone of VR illustration that Eiichiro Oda drew just for the event!
One Piece follows the story of young Monkey D. Luffy to become king of the pirates. Along his journey to new and strange places he collects a crew of misfits and they form the Straw Hat Pirate crew. Hello, One Piece celebrates everything that is One Piece as well as the fact that the manga has been serialized now for 20 years! An impressive feat worthy of our young captain and crew. First published in 1997, One Piece has sold more than 430 million copies in over 40 countries around the world.
At Hello, One Piece you can experience displays of some of the most touching scenes from One Piece. Black and white illustrations aren't all you'll see at this incredible exhibition, Eiichiro Oda, the artist and writer behind One Piece, has created some original pieces in color just for this event. You can even see a reproduction of his work desk, but beware, artists can be messy. The VR experience can't be missed either, peek into the head of Eiichiro as he draws the Straw Hat Crew in VR space.
When you're finished taking in the exhibition, don't forget to drop by the gift shop. There are original One Piece goods here that you can't find anywhere else in the world, even pirate ramen!? From t-shirts to coffee mugs and so much more, you're sure to find the perfect gift for the One Piece fan in your life or just treat yourself to some great booty!
General admission is 1,200 yen, with special discounts for grade school students. If you want to try out the VR experience it's just 200 yen more.
