The original owner of this lovely house was Fritz Ehrismann who was born in Zürich Switzerland and came to Japan in 1888 to join a trading business. The house is located in Motomachi Park and surrounded by many fresh green trees. The tearoom is the most comfortable place here with its big windows facing the park and a very high ceiling. The architect was Antonin Raymond who built quite a few unique fusion style (half Japanese/half Western structures) in Japan.
