The Kanazawa Handmade Marche is a celebration of crafts, food, and more, with approximately 1000 booths set to be present at the two-day event. Whether you've got a craving for some traditional Japanese sweets or homemade jams, or just want to pick up some one-of-a-kind accessories, the unique market is something you shouldn't miss.
This is a paid event, with same-day tickets priced at 600 yen, and advance tickets at a slight discount of 500 yen. Admission is free for elementary school-aged students and younger.
Getting there
The event takes place at the Ishikawa Prefectural Industrial Exhibition Hall, which can be accessed by bus from JR Kanazawa Station. Take the Hokutetsu Bus bound for Shimoyasuhara and alight at the stop for Fukurohatamachi Seibu Ryokuchi Koen. The venue is 5 minutes on foot from there.
For those who opt to drive, the venue is around 5 minutes from the Kanazawa West IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. On-site parking is available for up to 3500 vehicles.
