Venue Ibaraki Flower Park

When Oct 11th 2025 - Jan 26th 2026, 5:00pm - 8:30pm

Home to a wide array of different blooms, the Ibaraki Flower Park is best known for its roses but autumn sees the Moonlight Rose Garden event include around 3,500 lights illuminating an area of approximately 10,000 m², plus a variety of hands-on experiences such as making your own rose lantern.

The illumination event runs across two seasons:

Season 1: Flower Illuminate (Oct 11–Dec 1 2025)

With autumn’s arrival, the fragrance of 800 varieties of autumn roses blends with the vivid marigolds in a dazzling display. The Rose Terrace is bathed in a gentle, refined glow, as the beautiful blossoms are illuminated under the moonlight.

Season 2: Winter Illuminate (Dec 3–Jan 26 2026)

A mysterious atmosphere emerges in the Aroma Rose area, gently lit by the moon. On Green Hill, 2,000 illuminated “petals of the wind” shift through a spectrum of colors with light and breeze. Visitors are immersed in this enchanting, dreamlike world set against the clear, crisp scenery of winter.

Admission to the park is priced at 1,200–1,800 yen for adults, 400–600 yen for children (elementary and junior high age), and free for preschoolers and younger. Pets are also welcome at the park for an additional fee of 200 yen. Pricing depends on flowering conditions.

Venue is closed on Tuesdays, Dec 31–Jan 1, and Jan 7/14/21/28/29/30.
