Running on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from early November right up until Christmas Day, the Kobe Christmas Market will include a variety of fun ways to connect with the festive season. There will be German-style Christmas decorations and ornaments available to purchase, a special food menu including things like mulled wine, hot chocolate, and beef stew, plus some beautiful illuminations adding to the holiday atmosphere.
The market takes place at the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens, which does have an admission fee – adult admission (round ticket) is priced at 2300 JPY, and youth admission (round ticket) is priced at 1150 JPY. Please bring additional yen if you plan on purchasing food, drinks, or Christmas-themed merchandise.
Getting there
The Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens can be accessed via the Shin-Kobe Ropeway, located a short distance from Shin-Kobe Station.
For those who opt to drive, do note that there is no dedicated parking lot on-site. Visitors are advised to park at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kobe or other parking lots in the surrounding area.
