Chihiro Art Museum

Featuring two floors devoted to the art of children's illustrator, Chihiro Iwasaki, the Chihiro Art Museum embodies the late artist's commitment to "peace and happiness for children." The building's first floor houses exhibitions rooms, as well as a cafe and garden. The second floor sees a library, playroom and nursing room and all for an easy JPY1000 admission fee.

Doma-g

With exhibitions changing almost weekly, tiny Doma-g art gallery is bound to offer surprises with each visit. This cosy little gallery's works operate on the principle that if leaves good memories, it will be exhibited. Works are available for purchase to the core with the gallery exhibiting many themes and genres.

A 1-minute walk from Nerima Station on either the Seibu Ikebukuro or Toei Oedo lines.

Nerima Art Museum

With almost 7,000 works of modern and contemporary Japanese art held in its collection, the Nerima Art Museum has plenty to offer. Displaying its works throughout the year, the museum also features a public green space filled with exotically crafted animal art including a bronze lion and a bear made from plants.

Toei Animation Museum

With an appeal that belies its intimate size, the Toei Animation Museum is definitely one for the hardcore fans. The museum shows off Toei Animation studio's most popular creations, particularly that of the now world famous Dragon Ball franchise. With life-sized character replicas and play areas for the little ones, the museum is free to enter.
