Former Moji Customs

Great place to rest after a long walk at Mojiko

There are tons of attractions in Mojiko within walking distance from JR Kyushu Mojiko Station and just a short ride from downtown Kokura and the Hotel Crown Palais there. But you still can get tired from walking around all day. Fortunately, the former Japan Customs is a great place to rest. It is the oldest building in the area and was built in 1912. The first floor is a rest area for visitors and the second floor is a gallery that introduces the role of customs. It is really interesting to see examples of how drug dealers try to smuggle illegal drugs into the country. There's an observatory on the third floor.

Love to travel, meet people, and try new things. When you travel you meet new people, when you meet people, you learn new things. The world is limited but there isn't an end to what I can learn.
