The other day I went to Nishiyama Park in Sabae City, Fukui, to see its pretty moss pink blossoms on the hillsides. Fluffy moss flowers covered part of the hills and they were so lovely. However, this park is basically famous for its 50,000 azaleas, so I explored the park further to see how they were doing. Some were already blooming, but most of them were still in the bud stage. As a bonus, I found pretty Shaga flowers (iris japonica) along the path. They looked happy basking in the sun. It made me very happy and grateful to be alive and enjoying the soft breeze under the clear blue sky of warm spring!
