The word glamping is a combination of the words glamorous and camping and is a new style of camping that has been attracting attention in recent years. Its timing during the current Covid-19 pandemic means that the appeal of glamping is a strong one, even for beginners. It's a camping experience without the need to prepare your own tent or camping equipment.

On June 15, 2021, a new glamping facility called 'Mother Farm Glamping the Farm' opened at Mother Farm, a very popular spot in Boso, Chiba. It turned out to be one of the most talked about new ways to enjoy the already popular Mother Farm in Chiba Prefecture this year.

This glamping space is a private one for mornings, evenings and deep into the night as well. Here, the richness of nature brings about both healing and inspiration with the scenic beauty of nearby Kano Mountain changing from early morning to late evening. In the evening, you can relax and forget about the time, watching the stars twinkle in the sky. It's hard to not relax and enjoy this time.

Mother Farm is already a much-loved destination, particularly for families for whom it has plenty to offer. This new glamping concept, however, really does offer a new resort experience where everyone can enjoy the charm of the area. This combination of a 'farm-like atmosphere where you can feel close to the animals' and a luxurious 'glamping experience' overlooks the scenery of Mother Farm.

With 21 tents made up of nine different designs as well as two cottages, Mother Farm Glamping the Farm makes for a fantastically personable camping experience where everyone involved has the opportunity enjoy it.

Getting there

If you are not driving, then take the JR Line from Shinjuku, Tokyo or Chiba stations to Kimitsu Station. A direct shuttle bus can then take you to the farm.
