If you are planning to go to the Disney Resort and don't want to be far from Tokyo, HOTEL MYSTAYS Maihama is a good choice. You have quick access to Disneyland and DisneySea and are close to Tokyo and to interesting places in Chiba, such as Inage Seaside Park and Ikspiari Shopping Mall. On top of that you can watch the Disneyland fireworks every night for free.

HOTEL MYSTAYS Maihama is close to Maihama Station and they offer a free shuttle bus that goes from the hotel to the station and to the Disney Resort in the morning and back to the hotel in the evening. Check the times and you don't have to walk to the station, even if you don’t plan on spending the day in Disneyland. However, if you want to go to DisneySea, it's faster to walk instead of taking the shuttle bus!

The hotel has seven floors with twin, triple and family rooms, all very spacious and with their own bathroom. There is one room with handrails for guests who use wheelchairs. All rooms have a TV, fridge, free Wi-Fi and a massage machine for your calves. I found that one especially great after being on foot all day long!

Amenities in your room include shampoo, conditioner and body soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and towels. Other amenities such as razors, hair brushes and shower caps are available in the lobby and free of charge. There are vending machines, a coffee machine and an ice making machine in the lobby as well.

The location of HOTEL MYSTAYS Maihama is very convenient, as it takes only 15 minutes by train to Tokyo Station, 40 minutes to Chiba and about 1 hour and 15 minutes to Narita Airport. If you get a room on the upper floors you’ll have a great view and can enjoy the Disneyland fireworks in the evening. And if you’re not on the top floors, just take the elevator and go up. Don’t forget to check the fireworks’ schedule!

HOTEL MYSTAYS Maihama offers a buffet-style breakfast from 7:00-9:30 for ¥1100 for adults, ¥700 for children, and children under three years of age eat for free. All of the hotel's staff members are very friendly and speak English well, and they contributed a lot to my pleasant stay.
