Want to avoid crowds at the Makuhari Beach Park in Chiba? Head out to Inage Seaside Park, a couple of kilometers from the previous location with a beautiful beach side pool, a flower museum, a barbeque spot and an awesome beach to do beach-combing activities.
If you are into collecting sea shells and enjoying some do-it-yourself activity with them, Inage Seaside Park is a perfect location close by Tokyo, with beautiful views of the city skyline. I always collect sea shells at every city I have traveled to across the globe (provided it has a coastline), and I use nature's canvas to do some fun activity like shell painting.
Visit early in the mornings if you want to collect sea shells or you come on a visit in the evening for a beautiful sunset view. Abundant and reasonably priced parking spaces are available. With all the needful amenities for a family outing, the park is a great outdoor day-long activity destination.
The park is also a popular point to view the Makuhari fireworks, although it gets quite packed on the day of the fireworks in summer.

Travelling to various places and locations in Japan for over 20 years now, I want to share my experiences and also hear about destinations that I still have not been to in the land of the rising sun. Am a photography enthusiast and love to do slow shutter blue hour photography in Tokyo.
