Starting Friday, June 6th, Starbucks Japan is launching a bold new limited-edition drink: the Hot Honey Oriental Mango & Tea Frappuccino. It's a fun blend of sweet and heat that promises to shake up your usual summer sip.
This limited-time drink builds on the popular Oriental Mango & Tea Frappuccino with an added kick. It's layered with juicy mango, fragrant jasmine tea, and creamy soy milk, then topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of hot honey that brings the heat.
If you're a spice fan, this might be your dream drink, and Starbucks recommends mixing it well to get that sweet-spicy balance from the first mouthful. The sweetness of the mango hits first, followed by a slow burn from the hot honey. By the end, it's got a kick that will leave you sweating in a good way.
Priced at 761 JPY for to-go orders (or 775 JPY in-store), it’s available in tall size only and will be on sale through July 8th, 2025 or while supplies last. A quick heads-up: it's not recommended for children or anyone sensitive to spicy food, but hopefully that goes without saying.
If you're into bold flavors or just looking for something new to cool down (or heat up) this summer, consider giving this spicy-sweet frappuccino a try.
