The Pokémon Company has announced an exciting Pokémon GO event at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, scheduled from April 13 to October 13, 2025. Operating under the theme of "Designing a Future Society Where Life Shines," the Expo is set to bring together nations and cultures to explore how we can build a brighter, more sustainable future.

As part of this vision, the Pokémon GO event will offer an immersive experience where visitors can encounter Pokémon as they explore the Expo grounds, blending the virtual world of Pokémon with the real world in a unique way.

Throughout the event, attendees can encounter Pokémon such as Pikachu, Snorlax, Meowth, and even rare Pokémon like Unown. Several three-dimensional photo spots will be set up, where visitors can take commemorative photos with Pokémon using the GO Snapshot feature. Additionally, photo spots and locations around the Expo site will be transformed into "PokeStops," where players can encounter these Pokémon.

Participation in the event is simple: just launch the Pokémon GO app at the Expo venue. However, an admission ticket to the Osaka-Kansai Expo is required for entry. The event is free to participate in, but players should be mindful of their surroundings and follow all local regulations.
