If you enjoy all the fun of ice skating, the Toyoda Gosei Rink at Nagoya's Sakae Oasis 21 will be opened from from December 4th until March 13th – but it's skating with a twist. The surface of the rink here isn't actually ice, but a plastic-like substance that works as an alternative to traditional rinks. It presents a few benefits, namely not being wet (a blessing when it's already cold outside!) and not being as hard as ice if you fall.
The fee to access the rink differs between weekdays and weekends. Prices do include rental shoes, and do note that gloves must be worn when skating – you can either bring your own, or purchase some at the venue.
