Projection mapping displays at historic structures have exploded in popularity across Japan in recent years. There are many great reasons for their appeal, with the fusion of tradition and modernity without damaging heritage buildings being one of them.

The Okazaki Digital Art Night Festival takes place at Okazaki Castle and the surrounding park, and the four-day event will include projection mapping displays from 5.30pm until 9pm. Approximately six minutes of content will be continuously projected at the castle tower with a four minute intermission, and five minutes of content will be continuously projected at the Otemon Gate.
