If you're looking for a way to light up your evenings in Nagoya this winter, check out the NAKED Star Illumination event at the Chubu Electric Power Mirai Tower. The entire structure will be decorated with champagne gold lights, and there will be projection mapping displays taking place on the tower's Sky Deck observatory which sits 90 meters above the ground.
Appreciating the tower's illuminations from a distance is free, but if you would like to enjoy the projection mapping displays at the observatory you will need a ticket. Admission is priced at 1800 JPY for adults (counted as anyone high school aged and above), or 800 JPY for children (elementary and junior high school aged). Children younger than elementary school age receive free admission.
Getting there
The event takes place at the Chubu Electric Power Mirai Tower Sky Deck observatory (formerly known as the Nagoya TV Tower). The tower is right outside Exit 4B of Hisaya-odori Station, which is served by the Meijo and Sakura-dori subway lines.
